Beetle Bulletin #5

From carbon to community, from roots to resilience- Beetle Bulletin brings stories that power the regenerative revolution. 🐞

Every season begins with a farmer standing before his land and choosing to believe again-to trust the soil, the weather, the seed, and the quiet promise that care given to the earth will, in time, return to the hands that have nurtured it.

For us, regeneration begins here. Not only in markets or metrics, but in the fields where resilience is rebuilt through each practice, each decision, each harvest.

This edition of the Beetle Bulletin carries hope from the ground up, while staying connected to the global conversations shaping our climate future. From regenerative practices revitalizing the Indian heartland to insights emerging from global forums like Davos, it brings stories of farmers, partnerships and institutions working together.

And most importantly, hope that climate action-rooted in our community can regenerate not just land, but trust, opportunity, and shared purpose.

Davos 2026: Climate, Innovation and the Road to Regenerative Action

The 56th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting at Davos 2026 brought renewed focus to how climate action, innovation and economic resilience must move together. While global geopolitics and macro-economic stability dominated many conversations, climate-linked themes-particularly around food systems, agriculture and technology -cut across discussions.

A strong and consistent message was the central role of farmers in climate resilience and food security. Leaders acknowledged that climate transitions cannot succeed unless farmers are treated as partners in solution design, not merely recipients of policy. Read more

Sequestering Hope: How Regenerative Agriculture is Rebuilding the Indian Heartland

Bhawna Solanki, Lead - Strategy & Partnerships at Beetle Regen Solutions

"Carbon" is everywhere; it’s in our headlines, our corporate strategies, and unfortunately, too much of it is in our atmosphere. We talk endlessly about footprints and decarbonization, but at its heart, carbon sequestration is just a simple game of chemistry: plants pull CO2 from the atmosphere, and regenerative practices lock it deep into the earth.

At Beetle Regen Solutions, however, we’ve seen that we are sequestering something much more vital than molecules. We are sequestering hope. Every gram of carbon stored in the soil is a seed of hope planted for a farmer's future. Read more

Beetle Buzz: What's New

Partnership with IDH India to Scale Regenerative Agriculture 🌿

We’re delighted to announce our partnership with IDH India - The Sustainable Trade Initiative under the Regenerative Production Landscape Collaborative in Madhya Pradesh. As a strategic partner, Beetle Regen Solutions will support regenerative capacity building across implementation partners by co-creating a common, practical, and scalable framework for regenerative agriculture-deeply rooted in real field conditions.

Beetle Joins the C-Sink Network as an Endorsed Trader 🌿

We are proud to join the C-Sink network as an endorsed C-Sink Trader. Working at the intersection of agriculture and fashion, our focus is on building traceable and transparent supply chains by integrating digital traceability tools, regenerative agriculture practices, and biochar-based carbon dioxide removal (CDR).

Harvesting Hope, Resilience and Growth 🌿

This cotton season, across Beetle's Internal Control Systems in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra reflected not just progress, but responsibility and impact. Working with nearly 70,000 cotton farmers, early harvest data indicates an average yield increase of at least 11% year-on-year, exceeding national cotton averages.

These results were driven by improved agronomy, adoption of HDPS and closer spacing, and consistent field-level support. Beetle’s Regen Ambassadors played a key role in ensuring timely, clean and well-documented harvesting, with a strong focus on contamination control, safe storage, traceability, and ethical labour practices.

🌍 CDR Market at a Glance

By Nilanjana Banerjee, Carbon Consultant, Beetle Regen

Carbon markets are entering a credibility-first phase, where durable carbon removal, strong integrity frameworks and agriculture-led solutions are becoming central to climate action.

  • Carbon markets are entering a credibility-first phase, where durable carbon removal, strong integrity frameworks and agriculture-led solutions are becoming central to climate action.
  • The voluntary carbon market is shifting from volume-led offsets to high-integrity carbon dioxide removal (CDR), driven by advances in climate science.
  • Residual emissions remain unavoidable, positioning CDR as a near-term requirement, especially for hard-to-abate sectors.
  • Stronger integrity and claims frameworks are redefining quality, with greater focus on durability, permanence, and real-world impact.
  • Buyers are increasingly favoring durable removals, long-term offtake agreements, and projects delivering verified social and environmental co-benefits.
  • Agriculture, soil carbon and biochar-based CDR are emerging as core pathways as markets move toward systems-based, long-term climate solutions. (Read full article)
