Environment

Carbon Sequestration: Through our regenerative agriculture and Biochar initiatives, we aim to sequester approximately 1 million tonnes of carbon over the next three years , including approximately 220,000 tonnes in the first year. Adopting AWD in paddy farming can lower methane emissions by 48%.
Soil Health: With our intervention, we anticipate a 30% reduction in tillage on our farms within the first two years. This practice enhances soil health and minimizes carbon loss into the environment.
Afforestation Efforts: Seed Ball Dispersal: In June and July 2024, our teams dispersed 80,000 seed balls in open areas of their villages to promote natural regeneration and biodiversity. Tree Planting: We are actively promoting tree plantation on our farms and anticipate planting approximately 200,000 trees in the first year.
Less Chemical Usage: We are committed to minimizing chemical usage, fostering a healthier and more sustainable agricultural ecosystem by adopting natural inputs.
Biodiversity: Our initiatives promote natural regeneration and biodiversity through practices such as crop rotation, seed ball dispersal and tree planting. Reduced Water Footprint: By implementing Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD) techniques, we significantly reduce the water footprint by up to 30% in paddy farming.

Economic

Increased Farmer Income: Efficient practices like High-Density Planting Systems (HDPS), intercropping, and biochar application along with a combination of regenerative agriculture are expected to boost farmers' income by at least 20% to 30%.
Increased Productivity:Increased productivity not only improves revenue for the supply chain but also contributes to the nation's economic growth.

Social

Improved Living Standards: Increased income leads to improved literacy, nutrition, and health for farming families.
Ethical Practices: All our projects are designed with an ethical lens, ensuring fairness throughout our supply chains.
Gender Mainstreaming: In our first year, we've engaged over 1,000 women farmers across our projects, with women making up more than 40% of our management team. We are committed to increasing these numbers, by actively promoting gender diversity to ensure holistic development and inclusive growth within our initiatives.
Community Impact: We drive community betterment through dedicated Community Involvement Projects.
Lives Impacted: Improving the lives of 380,000+ people in 2024. (assuming an average family size of five for each of our 76,000 farmers)
