Achievements that defined 2024
Expanding Regenerative Practices
This year, we proudly introduced and scaled regenerative farming methods across a growing network of farms. Techniques such as minimal tillage, inter-cropping, biochar application, and crop rotations have not only rejuvenated soil health but also contributed to enhanced crop yields and resilience against climate shocks.

A significant milestone was achieving regenagri certification for our farms. This certification underscores our commitment to meeting global standards in soil health, biodiversity conservation, and carbon sequestration. It’s a badge of honor that reinforces our promise to deliver sustainable, traceable, and climate-positive solutions.
Carbon Sequestration Gains
By integrating carbon-smart practices, including the use of biochar and optimized water management, we have unlocked the potential to sequester over 200,000 metric tons of CO₂ through our projects. These efforts directly contribute to combating climate change while improving the livelihoods of the farming communities we work with.
Advancing Biochar and Water Efficiency Innovations
This year, we conducted large-scale biochar trials, exploring cutting-edge practices that redefine sustainable agriculture. Simultaneously, we enhanced water use efficiency through techniques like mulching, ridge earthing, and short-duration crop cycles, ensuring resilience in water-scarce regions.
Empowering Farmers at Scale
This year, we worked with thousands of farmers, providing hands-on training, tools, and resources to transition to regenerative farming. By fostering trust and building capacity, we’ve empowered farmers to not only adopt sustainable practices but also enhance their incomes and secure their futures.
Scaling Traceability in Cotton Supply Chains
Our traceability systems are beginning to see tremendous growth potential, bridging the gap between farms and global brands. By ensuring transparency at every step, we are helping brands meet their sustainability goals while building trust with conscious consumers.
Driving Innovation in Regenerative Agriculture
Innovation has been a cornerstone of our progress in 2024. From piloting High-Density Plantation Systems (HDPS) to conducting the first mulching, ridge earthing, and optimizing irrigation—has ensured that our farms are not just productive but also resilient against water scarcity.
Collaboration: The Key to Success
None of this would have been possible without the strong partnerships we've built with farmers, brands, and organizations. Collaborating with entities like the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) and Cotton Development Research Association (CDRA) has amplified our impact, particularly through farmer training programs in regenerative practices such as HDPS.
Through collaborations with partners like Boomitra, Varaha, Climate Asia, regenagri, Control Union, and Circonomy, we're driving impactful climate action, enhancing soil health, advancing carbon credit solutions, and pioneering sustainable farming innovations.
Through these partnerships, we are driving a mission that extends beyond agriculture—nurturing resilient communities and ecosystems that thrive together.
Pioneering Biochar Trials: Empowering Local Change-Makers
A standout achievement this year has been the successful execution of biochar trials across our projects. Through our Regen Ambassadors program, we're training farmers and equipping local leaders with the knowledge and skills to produce high-quality biochar.
These efforts aim to support smallholder farmers with sustainable solutions for agricultural waste disposal and ensure biochar production adheres to state-of-the-art standards for quality and sustainability.
This year, we also earned recognition on the International Biochar Initiative Global Map, a testament to the impact of our efforts and our contribution to advancing biochar solutions worldwide.
